Looks
The Meizu miniplayer looks great. The screen is beautiful, the video playback is crisp, and... well, it looks like an iPod, and nobody's complaining about the iPod's good looks.
The miniplayer is small, but it's huge where it counts - namely its screen, which is nearly the same size as the 5G video iPod. Impressive, no?
Performance and Ease of Use
The interface is intuitive, though navigation is slightly different from the iPod, so it has a small learning curve if that's what you're used to. The touch/scroll pad works as well as any iPod scrollwheel, and like the iPod's scroll wheel it can at times feel a touch too sensitive, but you love it all the same.
Other than that, everything works just as you'd expect it too, and well. Sound, video, and picture quality are all impeccable for a player of this size. You can easily load your miniplayer by dragging music to the player like it's a hard drive - it automatically recognizes songs and reads their ID3 tags. If your tags aren't so good, you can navigate the Meizu miniplayer's file structure by folders.
Features
Meizu has packed FM radio playback, audio recording (with built-in mic), video support (Xvid), photo support, a few nice looking games, and, of course, MP3/WMA/OGG/WAV audio playback. Not bad.
